Dr. Barrett DC, IFMCP is a chiropractor at Life Medical in St. Louis Park. Taran grew up in rural Canada, competing and coaching gymnastics at a national level prior to receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg. He then moved to Minneapolis to attend Northwestern Health Sciences in Bloomington where he graduated summa cum laude as valedictorian of his Chiropractic class. He continues to pursue advanced education and certifications in nutrition and rehabilitative medicine to be able to provide best practice treatments.
Dr. Barrett is an evidence-based chiropractor utilizing research and patient preferences to guide treatments and treatment plans. Taran recently completed a certification in Functional Medicine learning additional assessments of biochemical, nutritional and lifestyle factors to provide individualized and patient-centered treatments of the root cause of a condition instead of addressing only the symptoms. He enjoys working with all backgrounds and ages from children to the elderly.

You can expect a thorough history, exam and treatment during the first appointment with Dr. Barrett which will usually last 30-45 minutes.
