Daniela Tank, D.O. is a board-certified integrative family physician who believes in treating her patients holistically - mind, body and spirit. She tries to minimize the use of pharmaceutical drugs by finding the root of each patient’s problems. Her healing approach combines the best of traditional and non-traditional medicine, and she enjoys guiding her patients to total health; Mind/Body/Spirit.
Her journey in Holistic Family Practice began in Latvia where she was born and raised. She was brought up in a household rich with traditional European folk medicine. Dr. Tank immigrated to the U.S., where she became fascinated with the key principle of Osteopathic Medicine: treating a person as a whole being. Dr. Tank uses a holistic approach for diet and lifestyle counseling, nutrition and functional medicine as well as osteopathic manipulation.
Daniela completed her medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. After her graduation she moved to Minnesota to begin her Family Practice residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Tank has been practicing Family Medicine and Osteopathy since 2005 and became board certified in Integrative Family Practice in 2014.
