New study proves what we already know; medical cannabis for pain is a fabulous option
A study was recently published by the Office of Medical Cannabis Management (OCM) called “Chronic Pain Patients in the Minnesota Medical Cannabis Program”. It focused on the use of medical cannabis to manage chronic pain. Patients enrolled in the state’s medical cannabis program have experienced a noticeable reduction in pain.

“This study does not surprise me,” says Dr. Jacob Mirman of Life Medical. “In fact, our experience with the patients we’ve seen in follow-ups has shown great successes. Approximately 70-80% of the 7,000 patients that we have certified for medical cannabis have reported pain improvements that are far better than the results shown by this study.”
“I can testify that in our experience with a vast number of patients, the pain relief achieved with medical cannabis is almost aways better than with any other pain drugs, including opioids.”
“And when you factor in that medical cannabis is safer than any other pain drug on the market, either prescription or over the counter, medical cannabis has proved to be a truly remarkable solution for our patients with pain. A bonus is that many patients achieve improvements that are sustained for years and without the problem of “getting used to the drug and needing more” or the complication of addiction.”

Besides medical cannabis, we offer many treatment modalities for pain
The doctors at Life Medical offer many different treatment modalities for our patients who are experiencing chronic pain.
We all use the conventional approaches available at other clinics but also offer some complementary approaches that can prove to be very effective. In some cases, the complementary approaches are safer and less expensive than the conventional methods offered elsewhere. Often, they are used in combination with conventional methods.
Our pain modalities include:
1. Physical therapy
2. Chiropractic
3. Acupuncture
4. Homeopathy
5. Psychology
6. Neuro Research Protocol
7. Medical cannabis
Schedule an appointment to get your pain relieved
Schedule an appointment with Dr. Mirman. He will take the time to listen carefully to your medical history to determine the pathological cause of pain. This is the first step in developing the treatment plan.
A physical exam will be performed, and some testing may be ordered such as blood or urine tests, x-rays, etc. Dr. Mirman will also review outside records. When the cause of the pain has been determined, he will explain all your treatment options clearly so you can make an informed choice.
